    We have seen a lot of high loft polyester filter media over the past 16 years, from a whole host of different sources, and have learned two very important things.  The first is that most of these materials were made by a bedding or textile manufacturer as an afterthought to a primary product.  The second is they make a much better pillow than they do a filter.  The Troy Filters ULTRAFIBER products are filter medias manufactured by a filter company, right here in the USA.  End of story.
